Build the LAME archive and bridge using packages/mp3-encoder/README.md in the Mediabunny source archive. It contains the emconfigure/emmake and emcc commands. Build the JavaScript packages using npm install and npm run build in that source tree, following its package.json engine requirement. The source includes the original compiled bridge and the preferred source form for changing it. WW.PRO distributes Mediabunny's dist/bundles/mediabunny.min.mjs unchanged as: /tool-assets/vendor/mediabunny-1.55.7/mediabunny.mjs WW.PRO distributes the encoder's dist/bundles/mediabunny-mp3-encoder.mjs as: /tool-assets/vendor/mediabunny-1.55.7/mp3-encoder.mjs The only modification (2026-09-08) replaces: from "mediabunny" with: from "./mediabunny.mjs" This resolves its dependency from our own origin. No encoder or WASM code changes. Replace these standalone modules with your rebuilt compatible versions to run the tools with modified libraries. They are dynamically imported; the application does not use integrity checks to prevent replacement. You may use your own local server copy or browser development overrides for these URLs to test changes. Changes to the LAME implementation require rebuilding its bridge as described above and then rebuilding the encoder module. All preferred source files and build instructions are provided in the linked archives. You may modify, reverse engineer for debugging those modifications, and replace these library components. Our application terms do not restrict those rights.
